As I prepare to throw some holy water on my TV the day Game's ratchet new reality show premieres on VH1, the rapper should be expected to receive a lot of shade and death threats from the Jesus freaks with his new album cover.
The controversial album cover, titled Jesus Piece features Jesus with a bandana around his mouth (representing the Bloods gang), a gold chain around his neck and a teardrop under his eye.
Here is what Game had to say about his upcoming fifth album: “You want to believe in God, but you don’t want to be criticized and ridiculed by people who think that they’re better than you,” Game told Rap-Up TV of the concept. “I don’t want to feel like I can’t love God or appreciate Jesus and have to put down that blunt.”
Jesus Piece, which features appearances by Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, and Kanye West, will be in stores in December. What do you guys think?
