I don't mean to sound mean, but I really don't understand why will.i.am is trying to make the solo thing happen for himself. Sure he has some catchy songs with the Peas, but I personally think he works best as a producer and DJ at small dance clubs than someone who wants to forge a solo career. He tried it and failed with Go Hard feat. Jennifer Lopez. Then he tried and failed again with Eva Simons on This Is Love.
Now will.i.am has tried it again with another cricket Nicole Shitsonanigger aka Nicci Sundae to try and edge up the music video for his song Hula Hoop music video. He's already been working forever on it, and I've heard him say that #willpower is his artistic album. But every female that appears on his singles end up sounding like a poor man's Fergie. We shall see if he's interesting enough alone to pull some big sales numbers. But personally, someone needs to stick a fork in him because as a solo star he is done!
