Let's all take a nice extended moment for New York Knick Tyson Chandler's booty, shall we? When the 29-year-old, who also has a fondness for art was asked why he decided to pose nude for the magazine, here's what he said:
I think it gives the average person a good look at athletes’ bodies and why we are able to do the things we do. I think a lot of people are curious about it. I wanted to allow people to look at my body and see why I’m able to do the things I do on the court. Also, it’s a very artistic shoot, and seeing that in past issues made me want to do it.
What I love about this is that for once I get to look at someone of color on the cover of a magazine sans clothes, something the mainstream industry thinks won't sell unless they have someone like David Backham on the cover. If this issue doesn't sell a gazillion copies you're all dead inside.
