THE GAME LOOKING TO BRING ON A NEW COUPLE TO REPLACE MELANIE & DERWIN

The Game just wrapped their current season last Tuesday, and the popular series has already found the replacements for it's lead actors Tia Mowry-Hardrict (Melanie) and Pooch Hall (Derwin). If you watched the schitzophrenic season, Melanie and Derwin's relationship was put to the test when the couple were trying to have a baby (they even asked Melanie's former frenemy Tasha to be their surrogate), and while finding some meaning in her life Melanie decided to pursue her career as a doctor at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, which caused her relationship with Derwin to become strained. In the finale he wound up joining her at the airport, which gave an out to their characters (if I'm not mistaken the finale was filmed long before the show's producers decided not to bring their characters back).

So with that being said The Game is trying to pull a Single Ladies and are looking to bring on a new couple. One of the characters is named Kiera, a 20-year-old former child star who has been in the spotlight since she was five years old and starring on a “Cosby” style sitcom. I'm guessing Raven-Symone was the inspiration for the part, but the only difference is unlike Kiera, Raven didn't have trouble transitioning to an adult actress.

On the male actor tip, producers are looking for someone to play Bryce “The Blueprint” Westbook – a #1, Ivy League draft pick running back who breaks every “dumb athlete” stereotype. He’s not only got a Heisman Trophy, but he’s usually the smartest guy in the room — which sets his new teammates on edge.

Off the top of my head to play the two actors: Raven-Symone and on the male side I would say Lance Gross or Tristan Wilds. Now I'm sure some are wondering why Tristan and I thought he would be an interesting choice because his character Dixon got into a nasty car accident on the 90210 season finale and we have no idea what's his characters' fate.

Personally the show needs an entire makeover - not in regards to the actors, but in regards to the storylines. The show can't make up it's mind if it wants to be a comedy, a drama or both. And the show has jumped more sharks than the recent Syfy movie Jersey Shore Shark Attack.
