PARIS HILTON WORKING WITH LMFAO ON NEW ALBUM
It's hard to believe that it's been six years since Paris Hilton dropped her debut album Paris upon deafening ears. Although the record didn't chart as high as a song from, say, Britney Sears, she did drop a few cute songs. While I am not a fan of the Hilton machine, since I'm not interested in making someone born with a silver spoon in their mouths more famous than they already are especially when they have no real talent to speak of, I will admit that I quite enjoyed Stars Are Blind and Turn It Up whenever I heard it out and about. Now comes word that the socialite will drop her sophomore album this summer on her very own Heiress Records imprint.
Paris has already recruited boyfriend DJ Afrojack (Pitbull's smash Give Me Everything) to executive produce the entire album, and she told MTV News at the Golden Globes after-party that she has recorded a track with LMFAO. For those not in the know, Paris grew up with Redfoo and Sky Blu, who is the son and grandson of the legendary Quincy Jones.
“I was just in the studio with RedFoo the other night, so we’re going to be doing my new single with LMFAO,” Said the heiress. “I’ve known them since I was a little girl,” Hilton says of Refoo and SkyBlu. “We grew up together because our parents are friends, so I’m just so proud of them and all their success and what they’ve done because they’ve just created this whole Party Rock brand and it’s just so awesome.”
Paris says that we should hear a new single from her within the next two months and her album will drop in the summer. While Paris' fame may have dwindled in the current Kuntrashian-run society in which we live, it will be interesting to see how she will fare in the world of dance, especially since she is in a relationship with a Euro-dance DJ.
