It's been six years since we've seen vampire warrioress Selene fighting another battle in the hit Underworld franchise, and might I say it's good to have you back my dear. Beckinsale, who was last seen in Underworld: Evolution, returns in her lead role that made her a huge star, and in the fourth installment she escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.
Underworld Awakening, will be available at 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on January 20. Directed by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein, the anticipated film stars Kate Beckinsale, Stephen Rea, Michael Ealy, Theo James, India Eisley and Charles Dance.
