A few weeks ago it was reported that Rihanna (who is currently on tour promoting her 2010 album LOUD) was in the studio with Alex Da Kid working on new tunes, which many in the blogosphere thought was going to be included on an extended version of her last album. So not the case. It was officially reported by Ryan Seacrest that the Bajan beauty's slave wranglers over at Def Jam has her in the studio recording new tunes for a new album, set to be released this fall.
We can confirm that Rihanna is currently working on material and will release a brand new album this fall.
A RiRi stan got wind of this report and tweeted it, to which Rihanna revealed with her own fingers, that she is working on new music but the tunes will be included on a longer edition of the LOUD album. This is why i always say when it comes to the mainstream artists to wait a year later to buy their album because they always pull this fucking stunt.
Guuuurl, I know you're just a girl from a small island filled with people with little to no money, but there comes a time when you need to slow down and take a few months off before you start to crash and burn like Beyonce and Gaga (with her obvious coke habit). Maybe it helps because RiRi doesn't write her own music, but I won't be surprised if this next album sparks a RiRi backlash. This also means new album, new wig. It will also be interesting to see when this album comes out how it will fare up against Beyonce's 4 album when it comes out in September).
