Word on the street is that Black Swan actress Natalie Portman may be in the running to play Lois Lane in the highly-anticipated Superman reboot. There's also rumors that David Bowie's son Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code), Jonathan Liebesman (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Battle: Los Angeles, Clash of the Titans 2), Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In), Tony Scott (True Romance, Unstoppable), Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300) and Darren Aronofsky may be in the lead to take on directing duties. It was even rumored that Ben Affleck was in the running to direct the next sSuperman film. The script was writtine by comic book-to-screen legends David S. Goyer and Jonathan Nolan, and will be overseen by director Christopher Nolan (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Inception). As for who should play Superman, I don't see why not have Brandon Routh reprise the role, but if they decide to go another direction, how about True Blood actor Joe Mangianello?
