Is this a sign of yet another extended break for Britney Spears? Word on the street is that the pop princess will release another greatest hits album and will be called “The Singles Collection” and there will be 2 different versions available when it’s released in September.
A standard edition and a multi CD box set will be available to retailers, and also the release will have new songs, as well as all her biggest hits over a career spanning 10 years.
“The Singles Collection” will contain more of Blackout and Circus tracks, than any of her previous albums on the first disc.
What can be confirmed however, is that Spears has recorded some tracks with Max Martin, who she wrote about on Twitter stating "In Stockholm in the studio with Max Martin". Looking forward to hearing the new tracks, but in my opinion with the circus that is her personal life, a few mediocre singles released from her last cd, and some less than stellar live performances, it may be time for Britney to take a break and let someone else step up to the plate who can actually give a good show.
