Rob Zombie Hosts AMC's Revamped Horror Fest

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

R.I.P. Monsterfest and long live AMC's Fearfest, an eight-day Halloween horror movie marathon running October 21st - 31st. With the name change comes a new host: Rob Zombie, multi-hyphenate creator of The Devil's Rejects and the upcoming Tyrannosaurus Rex.

He'll offer intros and commentary for a number of participating Fearfest flicks like Jeepers Creepers (an AMC newcomer), House on Haunted Hill, Willard (the Crispin Glover version) and Jason Goes to Hell.

Other films on the roster include Pet Sematary, An American Werewolf in London, Christine, Motel Hell, Halloween, Son of Frankenstein and other oldies but goodies.

I was hoping that since October is my favorite month, and I love to watch a marathon of horror films, we could get some good horror movies on tv without edits and commercial interruption. I wouldn't want to sit through Jason goes to Hell again (that film was ****), and House on haunted Hill, but since Zombie will be providing commentary, I'll definitely watch.
